Constables Linksis and Gupta were waiting for Angus when he arrived home from church.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Free. Where’s your lady friend? You haven’t seen her in a while.”

“It was our only date.”

“And you served canned ravioli? Very romantic. I think you’re protecting her. That’s obstruction of justice. Is she worth going to jail?”
