Angus walked home thinking about everything he’d seen that evening. He wondered about her story. What if she was right? And if she was, what did it matter to him?

When turned down Maplewood street and saw the flashing police lights his heart skipped a beat.

“Mr. Free,” said Constable Gupta. “You’ve had a break-in.”
