Constable Gupta placed a reassuring hand on Angus’ shoulder. “Nobody wants to see you get hurt. If you let us we can help you.”

Angus shook his head. “I don’t know anything. All I want is to be left alone. Please.”

The officers exchanged a knowing glance before leaving. Angus was left to clean up.
