Benevolence- chapter 33

Angus paced nervously among the debris of his ransacked apartment. His first instinct was to find Trudi, but she was hidden beneath the cover of the city.

He tried sleeping. After fighting with his pillow, a soft tapping from outside grabbed his attention. Angus carried a baseball bat into the living room. He found Trudi.
