Benevolence- chapter 39

Crystal listened with bated breath to everything Angus had to say. Initially he was hesitant to speak about Trudi, but Crystal’s enthusiasm was contagious. At one point Angus noticed that she was caressing his arm. He wove a valiant tale he hoped would captivate her attention.

“May we continue this at your house?” she asked.
